COUNTRY HOME BAKING

Menu for Saturday, March 16

Please have your order in by 8 p.m. Tuesday evening. Curbside pickup available.

SINGLE SERVING MEALS

Sausage Breakfast Biscuit $6. These excellent sandwiches have a homemade buttermilk biscuit filled with a sausage pattie (includes hashbrowns, grated zucchini, and garlic, all topped with cheddar cheese!) *Pattie is GF and available separately.

Meat Pies $6. These half-moon pies are filled with ground beef, potatoes, carrots, and onions. Fully cooked; reheat in oven or microwave.

Fettuccine Alfredo with Broccoli $6. We make our own alfredo sauce for this comforting dish, which includes fettuccine noodles and steamed broccoli. *Now available GF!

GF Chicken Rice Soup $8/pint; $16/quart, plus $1 refundable deposit on jar.  This is wonderful soup, and includes carrots, celery, onions, and bone broth with the chicken and rice.

Pumpkin Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting $3. I usually only make these in the fall, but they are so good I’m going to make them now!

Bread Pudding $3.50/slice. This old fashioned recipe includes grated apple, crushed pineapple, and raisins.

Thumbprints $5/half dozen; $10/dozen

Chipper Bars $3 each

Blueberry Pecan Coffeecake $3/slice

Maple Granola $5/bag

Gluten-free: Chocolate Cream Cheese Brownies $3.50 each. Melted chocolate makes these rich and chocolately! Made with almond flour.

PIES
$6/mini; $18/large

Special This Week: Boston Cream Pie $7/mini; $20/large. This popular “pie” is actually a yellow cake layered with vanilla custard and topped with chocolate ganache. Yummy!

That’s all for this week… It’s time for me to head to Ohio and visit my daughter next week. Rosie is past two now, and her little brother is expected to arrive in June!  So I’ll be taking next week off and my stand will be closed. The following week will be Easter, so I will get a menu sent out next week. Because of the larger amount of pies for a holiday, I won’t be doing meals on Easter weekend.
